Making ‘Exercuses’?

Posted in Goal Setting, gratitude, Life Challenges.

Our theme is:  “Making Exercuses? Transform Your Life!”

So many of us have great intentions to get more exercise, to become fitter, gain greater tone and take those trainers out of the cupboard…

And then it seems life gets in the way, doesn’t it?

Or does it?  Are we just making ‘exercuses’?

When else do we put off being at our best?  Achieving the desires we have?  What are your exercise goals? If you were to embrace your exercise and health goals what difference would this make to your life and your business?

Also in our meetings we’ll have time to celebrate our successes over the last month, take a private shap shot of where we are in our life and business right now – and of course there will be lots of interaction, laughter and insight. And as always… there will be cake! Yum!

Find out more by visiting our website www.fabfriendsnetwork.com and finding your nearest group.  Alison Jones of Iron Mum will be generously hosting/speaking at High Wycombe, Basingstoke and online Truro Fab Friends in March!

Your first visit is complimentary, so if you’d like to be included on the guest list of any of our meetings, then please do contact us via the website.

Live In Abundance Now

Following on from yesterday’s blog post, have you decided you’ll do whatever it takes to break through your glass ceiling to live a rich, fulfilling and abundant life?  Perhaps creating a business around your passion and purpose?  If you have, read on:

What would it take for you to choose what you’d love to have, and own the dream?  Take some time out to reflect and dream on that – literally, have some time out – a walk in nature, some ‘me time’, to sit, doodle and dream.  Everything is about choice and of course love!  Be in love with what you want for you! – It’s ok!

We live in an abundant world and when we expand our comfort zone and dream bigger it can fill our tummies with   butterflies and excitement.  Hold onto the passion you feel, for this is what will carry you forward.  The inner gremlin will begin to plant the seeds of doubt in your mind and they will grow – if you give them focus – so keep focused on what you want.

Now you know what you want, how will you bring it into your reality?

  • Build a dream board with pictures of what you’d love to have, become and experience – don’t be shy – own the power of each image and get behind the emotions they stir as if you had already achieved them.
  • Journal your feelings and thoughts and progress.
  • If it is a physical experience you wish to achieve, immerse yourself as close to the experience as you can.  Try it on for size, visit, watch videos, read books on subjects etc
  • If you know that others have achieve this desire for themselves, for instance if you want a red Audi TT and you know that others have one, then know with absolute certainty that it is possible to have this car (just as others do) and that you can too.  You are meant to have it also – so believe it is possible!  Own your desire with certainty!
  • Value yourself – value you.  You are your greatest asset, believe in yourself and own your power!
  • Be true to yourself, expand your thinking every day – expand your comfort zone everyday – do something new!
  • Have a ritual of gratitude – give thanks for all you have now, even the smallest things and feel gratitude as if you’ve already achieved your desires
  • Ask for help from your spirit guides and angels, they will help you, but you have to ask first.
  • Spot the opportunities that come your way and take inspired action on each one!  Quickly!
  • Share you desires only with those who will nurture your dreams and goals and support you to shine brightly.
  • Let go of the ‘how’ and focus on the outcome you want, the ‘how’ will show up.
  • Celebrate each step of the way and take some leaps of faith in yourself.
  • Find yourself a buddy who will support you to keep on your path
  • Choose a mentor and coach who will not only keep you focused and motivated, but who will support you to break through the belief blocks that unless identified and released will stop you from ever fulfilling your potential.

I work closely with forward thinking women in small groups and special individual VIP Day’s where they smash though their blocks and accelerate towards their goals.  It’s not for everyone and I work on an application basis.

But if you’ve had enough of being comfortable being uncomfortable and ready to claim your birth right – follow your desires, with passion and purpose and would like to feel supported on this journey then make an empowering decision today – there is no time to waste.  Decide that you are worth it, you can achieve it.

Message me ali@alisoleil.com and ask about a complimentary consultation session to discover how I can support you to break away from your struggles and into the reality you were meant to be experiencing where it is abundant, joyful and fulfilling.  It really is waiting for you, are you going to take it?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

To all your successes

Are You Ready To Live In Abundance?

Posted in Articles, Perfect Days, Personal Development, Setting up a business.

Have you noticed how easy it is to get comfortable being uncomfortable?  Wishing your life and business were more abundant and not knowing how to move toward getting what you want?  It’s like there is something in-built that stops us from reaching out and living the life of our dreams and we’re kept on the side lines, playing small and thinking “one day it’ll be different” but knowing deep down that something has to change in our thinking before it could happen and time is ticking on….

Martin Luther King said “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”     And yet, when we don’t feel it’s something we can realistically achieve, the first step up, can just seem a bit too high and we abandon the dream to stick with being comfortable, in our comfort zone settling for second best.  And our life just plods on.

It’s not meant to be this way!  You are meant to stand out and shine!

Often when I ask my clients what they would really love to have, become or do they struggle… they feel uncomfortable. Sometimes they are embarrassed to express what they’d really love, because they feel undeserving, selfish or that it just could never happen to them… if they see someone else living their dream and they say they feel envious of those experiencing what they wish they could be experiencing – has it happened to you too?

And how do I know all this?  Because I was there, in that place not so long ago.  And now I’ve discovered that following my passions, has lead me to my purpose and by building a business around my purpose with support of mentors, I’ve broken though the glass ceilings that my limiting beliefs had created and my life is changing magically!  It really has become abundant!  Would you like that too?

Are you ready to make the big shift and harvest your desires?  Would you like to break through your glass ceiling?  Even to build a business around your desires and purpose – and monetise it in such a way that feels fabulous, exciting and effortless?  Part Two of my blog will follow tomorrow, so do come back to find out how you too can make this happen!

Sunshine and smiles

My Reflective Review of 2011

Posted in Articles, happiness, Life Challenges, Personal Development, Setting up a business.

Like me, you’ll be reviewing your achievements of 2011.  It’s so important to look back at them, revisit and enjoy the memories, to celebrate them and to take the learnings of the year.  What are you most proud of, what’s the icing on the top of the cake for you?  What could you have done differently?  What have you gained?  What or who have you let go of?  What was your biggest learning about yourself?  Who were the key players this year who made a significant impact on you?

As I reflect back I remember that by the end of 2010 was beginning to feel uneasy.  I was continuing to work hard and yet the results were not showing up in my business fast enough.  I had some full workshops and 1:1 clients although I wondered if I needed to find a ‘proper’ job (perhaps return to my recruitment industry roots) and yet I really didn’t want to.  My calling to serve women, to support them in their greatness was so strong.  I knew that I had to keep focused, not allow fear to take over take what I am here to do.

I have invested so much in my own learning since 2004 with mentors, coaches, seminars, conferences, bootcamps as well as books, audios and training dvds.  What was slowing me down was that some of what I’d learned conflicted greatly with my own authenticity and it was on my mind so much of the time.  My thoughts were affecting my progress.  Have you ever felt that?  It was like pushing away from the side of the swimming pool as I decided to break away from what did not fit with my own values and to step further into my own truth.  Choosing to love and let go of the people who I was not in alignment with and instead be true to myself, honour my clients authentically. This move felt bold, empowering yet scary at the same time!  Having said this, I was so grateful for all the learnings and experience as it supported me to gain clarity on my own values, my purpose, who my clients are and how I can honour and support them to step into their greatness.  Does this resonate with you?

It was time to step up big and take the empowering practices that I’d learned and integrate them in with my intentions!  One of my dreams for some years was to set up a self development group for women and I decided to stop procrastinating and take a giant leap out of my comfort zone.  At the beginning of March, I launched a self development group for women in High Wycombe called Fab Friends Network.  Some wonderful women joined my membership group and began making great changes in their lives.  I was asked to appear on another local radio station and many speaking bookings came flowing my way.  Creating videos raised my visibility and pushed me further out of my comfort zone.  More clients connected with me – my authentic self, and knew I could support them to get great results.  I chose not to become distracted from my path and launched a VIP Group for 5 women in September, who I work with at a higher level, this group is called the Butterfly Circle and we meet each month for a day of learning, sharing and mentoring.   And a second Fab Friends Network group was launched in Basingstoke, Hampshire in October.  It was very exciting to have two new websites built www.alisoleil.com and www.fabfriendsnetwork.com.  The year unfolded beautifully with happiness, integrity and life lessons of trusting, surrendering, self belief and focus.

My clients have inspired and delighted me with their transformations, decisions, dreams and support. They have made such tremendous progress, I feel privileged to work with every single beautiful soul.  I’ve also met some hugely inspiring women mentors this year who have taught me so much and guided me to make authentic decisions in my business – and life.  I’ve been fortunate to attend some eye and heart opening workshops and talks in London with inspiring speakers such as Byron Katie, Sonia Choquette and Dr Michael Beckwith.   I also met my partner Andrew who has been a very important person in my life this year.  He has been so fantastic at loving me whilst allowing me to focus on my business.  Supporting and listening to me when I’ve been unsure of my challenging leaps, reassuring me and putting up with me when I’ve been a bit stressy!  Both my daughters have supported me at home and in my business, Becky has attended every Fab Friends meeting this year – which has been so helpful to me and a great learning for her!

It certainly has been a year of  huge leaps of faith, some big shifts in my thinking and most of all walking my talk.

I’ve learned that it’s so important to surround myself with a supportive peer group who encourage me to be the best I can be – to be authentic, to believe in myself, to ask for help, not to compare myself with others, keep on my path and not be persuaded off it or distracted by the ‘rocks’ in the road.  And above all to feel happy :)   Hanging in there, keeping motivated – believing in myself and my ‘gifts’ has really changed my circumstances enormously, the snowball is rolling and I’m in such a different place to where I began the year.  I start 2012 full of excitement and can’t wait to allow it all to unfold, surprise and delight me.

I would love to hear about your year, what you’ve faced and overcome.  What learnings you’ve taken and of the joys and delights that have been the icing on the cake for you!  And if you’d like some support to make your 2012 your best year ever, send me an email ali@alisoleil.com and we can have an informal chat to see how we can work together and make that happen, it will be my privilege.

Have a great New Year!

Love and celebrations

An Update!

Posted in Perfect Days, Personal Development.

I’ve a quick update to share with you.

I remember that for many, many years, I found myself feeling I was in the ‘wrong’ job.  One friend even described me as a pinball machine!  Always trying new things and always seeking something that make my heart sing.  Have you ever felt like that?  Something always told me that I was happiest when I was working with women, empowering them to step up and go for it (I spent years in the recruitment industry)!

Now, I know as a womens life coach and mentor, nothing gives me a greater feeling than witnessing my clients own transformations; it’s just the best feeling and I feel so privilaged to work with my clients.  If you’re still struggling to find your ‘thing’ let me know, I maybe able to support you with that!

As with all things creative, my business is organic, it’s taking it’s own shape.  I want to let you know that I’ve chosen to drop the Daring Damsels branding and use my own name.  So my website will reflect this soon!  And Fab Friends Network will have it’s own unique site – and I can’t wait to share that with you!  Both will be launched very soon.

My vision a few years ago was to create a worldwide supportive network for women and I’m so excited that new Fab Friends Network groups will be opening early next year around the UK – reaching more ladies who want to feel more fabulous, who want more from life, who are ready to ignite their passions and belong to a peer group of supportive women who will encourage them to step up and go for it!

As you know, High Wycombe Fab Friends group, is soon to have a sister group Basingstoke Fab Friends, based in Sherfield on Loddon which launches this week – on Thursday 13th in the evening!  If your name isn’t on the guest list and would like to come along, there are still a few free places – just email me. Find more information at www.fabfriendsnetwork.com

Have you been to a Fab Friends meeting?  Watch this 2 minute video to see what 3 fabulous ladies said last week as they left the High Wycombe group they did make me giggle!

So that’s all for now, I just wanted to keep you in the loop!

Have a great week and I hope to speak with you soon.

Do send me an email or call me on 07702 591288 if you’d like more information or if I can support you on your life journey.

Wishing you happiness
